e-student.org is reader-supported. We don’t run ads or charge for our articles. Instead, many links on the site are affiliate links: if you click one and then buy a course, subscription or book, we may earn a commission from the seller. This page explains what that means for you.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link contains a code that tells the seller you came from e-student.org. On our site, most of these links go through an address like e-student.org/goto/…, which sends you straight on to the seller’s page. If you then make a purchase, usually within a set period, the seller pays us a share of the sale.
- It costs you nothing extra. The price is the same whether you use our link or go to the seller directly. Sometimes a link comes with a discount or free trial; when it does, we say so.
- Offers and prices change. Course providers change their prices, discounts and free trials often. We check our offer boxes regularly, but always confirm the current price and terms on the seller’s site before you buy.
We work with many course providers directly and through affiliate networks, including Amazon Associates, Rakuten Advertising, Impact, Awin, CJ and ShareASale.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Our reviews stay independent
Commissions never decide what we write or how we rate a course or platform:
- We choose what to review ourselves, and we write about products whether or not they have an affiliate program.
- Nobody pays for a review, a rating or a place in our rankings, and sellers don’t see or approve our articles before they are published.
- Our ratings come from our review methodology (see About): the price-to-quality ratio, how complete and up to date a course is, ease of use, reputation and transparency. We point out the downsides as well as the strengths, and we quote real learners’ experiences.

General information only
The content on e-student.org is for general information. We do our best to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee that every detail is complete or current, and we aren’t responsible for decisions you make based on it. Course content, certificates, accreditation and prices are set by the providers; check the details with them before you enroll.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to many websites that we don’t run or control. We aren’t responsible for their content, their privacy practices or the products they sell. Buying from a provider is an agreement between you and that provider.
